The School Reform Act (or SRA) requires DC PCSB to conduct a charter review of each school at least every five years. We evaluate each school to determine whether it is meeting the charter goals and academic achievement expectations, legal compliance, and fiscal management requirements set forth in the charter agreement.
As part of our oversight efforts, we conduct an Annual Compliance Review to ensure public charter LEAs comply with applicable laws and charter requirements.
The Board makes publicly available every school's financial information, including school budgets, fiscal audits, and 990s.
