The DC Public Charter School Board’s Communications Department is the official point of contact for representatives of the public charter school board. Additionally, the Communications Department can assist journalists with getting in contact with representatives at individual public charter schools. Contact Tomeika Bowden, Chief Communications Officer, at [email protected] or (202) 328-5543.

Media Inquiries and Interview Requests

All requests for interviews with the Executive Director or members of the Board should be made to the Communications Department at [email protected] or Tomeika Bowden at [email protected].

Speaking Requests

All requests for a representative of the Board to speak at an event or conference should be made to Ella Krivitchenko at [email protected].

Public Meetings

The DC Public Charter School Board meets monthly to discuss various issues related to public charter schools. The media is welcomed to join the public meetings. The location and time of the meetings are available on our website.
