Proposed Dual Enrollment Regulations

The DC Public Charter School Board and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education on Friday May 25, 2012, hosted a webinar for Charter Local Education Agencies (LEAs) regarding proposed regulations governing student Dual Enrollment. A Dual Enrollment program enables high school students to enroll in approved college courses, taken on a college campus, and to simultaneously earn high school and college credit. Currently the District possesses no regulations or oversight articulating the rights and responsibilities pertaining to Dual Enrollment programs.
