Board Meetings
DC Public Charter School Board holds monthly meetings and public hearings as required at its Columbia Heights office, normally every third Monday at 7:30 p.m. For more information about an upcoming meeting, or to sign up for public comment, call (202) 328-2660 or email

The public is encouraged to present testimony at public hearings. Public hearings are required when:

a school requests to amend its charter agreement, including:

change of its curriculum or program focus
-
change in the grades served
-
other substantive changes from the initial charter application
-
board members are considering new applications;
-
board members are considering revoking a charter (if the school requests it);
