Somerset Prep Visits George Mason University

Last month, Somerset Prep Academy PCS 11th grade scholars visited George Mason University and met with their Dean and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs for a one-on-one experience. The students had the privilege of getting an upfront view of the Volgenau School of Engineering department. George Mason University offers phenomenal opportunities for scholars who are interested in engineering, computer science, or information technology. Also, the students had an opportunity to meet with faculty members from various academic programs.

Somerset Prep Academy’s curriculum involves engineering, computer science and/or information technology. The scholars that attended this trip specifically have an interest in pursuing a career in STEM-related fields. Following their trip to GMU, they are now eager to start their college applications to enroll in a prodigious engineering school.
