Washington, D.C. - Today, DC Public Charter School Board Executive Director Dr. Michelle J. Walker-Davis and DC Charter School Alliance Founding Executive Director Shannon T. Hodge issued the following statement:

“Many public charter schools, including those already back in session, are requiring all staff to get vaccinated or comply with regular testing. In addition, all public charter schools are following citywide health and safety guidelines for schools, which include symptomatic and asymptomatic testing, mask requirements, contact tracing, and quarantining. Public charter schools remain committed to having the highest safety standards for our students and employees as they reopen and throughout this school year.”
