DC Public Charter School Board Website Redesign Request for Proposal (RFP)

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (DC PCSB) seeks proposals from individuals and organizations that are experienced in providing and/or redesigning the DC PCSB website (www.dcDC PCSB.org) to improve user experience, navigation, accessibility, and realign and redesign relevant content for our diverse audiences of families, students, educators, and community members. The improved site should reflect DC DC PCSB’s mission, vision, and brand. Designing new school pages that incorporate (and automate updates of) school evaluation data, scores, and Levels (ASPIRE) while enhancing overall functionality, usability, and ADA compliance.

Shukurat Adamoh-Faniyan

A native Washingtonian, Shukurat Adamoh-Faniyan serves as the Chief of Campus Experience at Jeremiah Program, a nonprofit whose mission is to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children. Ms. Adamoh-Faniyan previously worked as Executive Director of Reading Partners DC, a nonprofit that places community volunteers in elementary schools to help students master essential reading skills. She has also served as Executive Director of Democracy Prep Congress Heights PCS, a PK-8 public charter school serving more than 700 scholars in Ward 8, and at Imagine Southeast PCS. She has worked at Heads Up, a nonprofit that provides summer and after-school enrichment programs to DC youth, and at Leadership for Education Equity, a nonprofit leadership development organization. A Ward 8 resident, Ms. Adamoh-Faniyan graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and from American University with a Master of Arts in Teaching.

She will serve until 2027.
