Qualitative Site Reviews
The DC Public Charter School Board uses a number of tools to measure success within its schools. To complement the quantitative data in our Performance Management Framework and attendance reports, we designed the qualitative site reviews to gather additional, qualitative data. These reviews consist of three major components:
- Meetings with school leadership.
- Unannounced school visits.
- Reviews of school board meetings and parent interactions.
By conducting these reviews, our goal is to provide parents, teachers, and school leaders yet another source of information to measure achievement and identify areas for improvement. Our new 2018-19 QSR Protocol is available.
