DC Public Charter School Board Governance Training Learning Management System Request for Proposal (RFP)

The District of Columbia Public Charter School Board (PCSB) seeks proposals from individuals and organizations that are experienced in providing Learning Management Systems (LMS). The DC PCSB will begin providing training for over 700 new and experienced School Board of Trustees Members leading the District’s 66 Local Education Agencies (LEAs). We seek an LMS that can house the training content, track learner usage, facilitate communication between learners and instructors, assess learner understanding, and be adaptable for multilingual learners and/or those with learning disabilities. The proposal should include technical support and system access for one year.

Public Hearing for Charter School Applications

The public is encouraged to present testimony in writing or in person at a public hearing for these charter applications.

The hearing will be taking place on Monday, April 20 at 6 pm at Paul PCS (5800 8th Street NW, Washington, DC 20011). Meeting materials here.

Public hearings are required when a school requests to amend its charter agreement, including:

  • Change of its curriculum or program focus
  • Change in the grades served
  • Other substantive changes from the initial charter application
  • Board members are considering new charter applications
  • Board members are considering revoking a charter (if the school requests it)

Individuals may submit comments, identified by "Name of School" by any of the following methods (please select only one):

  1. Submit a written comment by:

    3. Hand Delivery/Courier: Same as postal address above
