The D.C. Public Charter School Board (PCSB) will hold an enrollment fair for students and families of Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers (KIMA) Public Charter School on Friday, August 27th at 6:30 pm at KIMA’s campus at 100 Peabody Street, NW, First Floor.

Last night, the D.C. Superior Court denied Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers Public Charter School’s (KIMA’s) motion to stay the D.C. Public Charter School Board’s (PCSB’s) revocation of its charter.

The District of Columbia is one of ten winners of the Race to the Top grants from the U.S. Department of Education. D.C. charter schools and DCPS will share the $75 million grant with charter schools getting about $12 million.
