We talk a lot about our schools innovative programs, but did you know about KIPP DC’s College Partner program?

KIPP DC has a deep commitment to getting students “to and through” college. They have done so through their continued partnership with higher education institutions through programs like the College Partner program. Through this program they are able to identify weaknesses and strengths in the existing programs, improve the persistence and graduation rates our their students and also create a model for other programs and future generations.

Through their intense involvement in student achievement, several KIPP DC schools across the district receive awards and scholarship funds for their high performing students.

Just to highlight a few great achievements -- this year, every graduating student at KIPP DC - College Preparatory PCS’ class have been accepted to college and they have earned $3,391,856 in scholarships to date. The class boasts two Stephen Joel Trachtenberg scholars who will attend George Washington University, two POSSE scholars who will attend University of Rochester and Lafayette College, and four students with full scholarships to the at University of Maryland, Brandeis University, Davidson College, and Spelman College.

Congratulations to KIPP DC’s Class of 2015!
