Gina Lucchesi

Gina Lucchesi leads charter reviews and renewals. Prior to joining DC PCSB, Ms. Lucchesi worked as an education researcher and consultant at Mathematica, a government contracting firm. In this role, she supported educators at state agencies and districts to use research-based strategies in their work and to use data to drive their decision making. She led partnerships with educators focused on a range of topics, including algebra instruction and social-emotional wellness. Ms. Lucchesi taught secondary math at a high school in Cleveland and at a middle school in Phoenix (as a Teach for America Corps member). She holds a Master of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Studies from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Education from Arizona State University.
