The DC public charter schools are public and tuition-free, open to all students, and they do not have selective entrance requirements. They offer District families a wide variety of quality educational choices. Families should complete a My School DC application to request space at participating public charter schools. My School DC is a common application and a common lottery for public charter schools and DC Public Schools (DCPS). Families can access the common application at My School DC.
